This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It applies to everyone who uses Humerly, and to any email a customer sends from mailboxes on Humerly's infrastructure. Customer sending from those mailboxes is not open yet. When it opens, this policy governs it.
You must not:
- Send email to anyone the law does not allow you to email, or to purchased, rented or scraped lists.
- Send to addresses you have not checked are real and can receive mail, or keep sending to addresses that bounce.
- Hide or fake who you are. Every message names the real sender and carries a valid postal address where the law requires one.
- Use a subject line or header that misleads, including "Re:" or "Fwd:" on a message that is not a reply or a forward.
- Send commercial email without a working way to opt out, or keep mailing anyone who has opted out.
- Send content about betting or gambling, loan or lending apps, adult content, MLM or pyramid schemes, cryptocurrency scams, illegal activities, misleading apps, or political or hate content.
- Use any tool or service to fake engagement or to get around a mailbox provider's filters, including scripted opens, clicks or replies.
- Break any law that applies to your email, such as the CAN-SPAM Act in the United States, the GDPR in the EU, the UK GDPR and PECR in the United Kingdom, Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), Australia's Spam Act 2003 and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act.
- Resell Humerly or share access to it without our written agreement.
What we may do
If we see a breach of this policy, high bounce or complaint rates, or a risk to other customers or to our infrastructure, we may pause sending or suspend the account. Where we can, we tell you the reason in writing first, and you can reply to appeal.
